This (delete user profile) is going to make us a bit crazy. Some users comment us that have a problem with deleting Windows 10 user profile with above method. I have tested again and created a video to delete a user account profile correctly in Windows 10. In this video tutorial, I have explained two methods to delete the user profile. The first method is the above but the second one is using a DelProf2 app. This app works perfectly in this tutorial.

Let us know if you still have any problem with deleting users profile in Windows 10 or other Windows.
Hmm… not working for me the “Delete” button is grayed out, just like the “Copy To…” button in your screen shot. I am on an admin account.
Hi Justin,
It seems you are trying to delete the admin account, but the Windows won’t let you to delete the admin account.
the advanced profiles wont load, it crashes

Windows 10 appears good just from clear installs to me,

Hi,
If this method is not work, try to delete user profile with DelProf2 app.
Just download the file and run it. Before executing DelProf2, delete user name with net user command line.
Just thought I would let you know what I ran into, if I used DelProf2 with Windows 10 I noticed that it does mess up users when they get newly created profiles and try to use the app store if they are not an “Administrator”. The app will not download and or install for some reason. I work in an education environment and have the need for our students to be non admins.
Yes, it doing something like mass deletion of all users profile but current user which runes the DelProf2. The best method is using builtin Windows option to delete a user profile.

This doesn’t work – the del button is not an option. F MS.
There is not delete button or it shows a disabled delete button?
At first this didn’t work for me. The delete button was greyed out. I did two things to get it to work. I followed step 1 and deleted the user, although I did it from the settings/account/family,other people menu. I believe either way will suffice. Then I rebooted. I typed “command” into Cortana bar (don’t hit return), used right click on cmd prompt to run the command window as administrator. From the cmd window I ran the sysdm.cpl command. The delete button was now available. One of the accounts I was deleting was an administrator account ( a second one, mine was the other). The accounts being deleted were listed as unknown. I watched them disappear from a file explorer window I had up. Not sure if the reboot or admin privilege did it or both. Hope this helps.
I conceive you have noted some very interesting
points, thank you for the post.
you need to run sysdm.cpl as an admin to get the delete button.

avoid failures and huge loss. Frequently when I am building a website following the customer has looked over several revisions, the topic
of conversation drifts to the fonts that ought to be suited for the website.
WOW just what I was searching for.
Has anyone else noticed when they are deleting mass user profiles via delprof2 or powershell it causing issues with GPO printers not appearing until restarting the printer spooler on every profile recreated? I’ve noticed this on Windows 10 1703 and 1609 and cannot figure out what is causing the issue. I think it may be that the printer spooler caches the GUID of the deleted account? GPO looks fine and applies perfectly if a new user logs into a computer that has had profiles removed. But not for a user who has been purged and logs back in.
Andy advice?
Cheers
man there is no need to work hard create a new local account by steps Control Panel>User Account>Manage Account >New Account then change its type to admin and login with that account and agin go to Manage Account select and account and delete
