I have just update some WordPress plugins a few days ago and I received Site Database Backup email SPAM more than 1500+ just in a 5 hours. This issue make my website suspended by web hosting team. The below messages are the site database backup SPAMs that caused by iThemes Security WordPress plugin and how to fix site database backup email SPAM.

The plugin just send this email in every minutes and even in every second. I exactly don’t know why it send’s too much notification email. One email is enough to inform the website owners to fix their website database backups.
How to Fix Site Database Backup Email SPAM?
The last update for iTheme Security plugin make lots of problems such as log files directory, directory permissions and etc.
Currently, I have disabled the Database Backups section of iTheme Security plugin. The iTheme Security database backups section create a backup from your website database. You can schedule it for database backups.
It’s not important option if you already have another database backup solutions. If you don’t have, let this plugin backup your website database.
